Meet Isabel: Feeding Hope, One Dog at a Time

In a quiet corner of Mexico, Isabel is doing something extraordinary. With nothing but grit, heart, and a donated ranch, she’s caring for some of the most neglected and desperate dogs we’ve ever seen.

We’ve partnered with Isabel for years — and together, we’ve helped save hundreds of lives.

While most of our rescue work is in Texas, the dogs from Mexico hold a special place in our hearts. They’ve known hunger, fear, and abandonment… but still greet us with wagging tails and sweet, grateful hearts.

Many of the dogs Isabel saves live at the donated ranch, while others curl up on her small patio. Every single day, she feeds and cares for nearly 40 dogs, many of them sick or injured — dogs no one else would stop for.

With your help, we provide medical care, food, and second chances. Once healthy, these incredible pups come to the U.S., where they find forever families.

Isabel works around the clock in conditions most of us can’t imagine — because she refuses to give up on the ones who’ve been forgotten.
